For the very first edition of Subset Festival we welcome you to The Valley in Kemptthal. Located between the major cities Zürich and Winterthur it's the ideal location for our festival and easy accessible.
The historic factory background provides an unique vibe, perfect for our dayparty.

  • ​We recommend traveling by public transportation. The Kemptthal train station is located right by the festival site and is served by the S24 line at half-hour intervals. The S24 line runs towards both Zurich HB and Winterthur. There are no parking spaces available.

  • Subset Festival will be open from 13:00 to 22:00.
    Doors open at 13:00, we advise to arrive as early as possible to avoid lengthy queues.
    Last entry is at 17:30, the event finishes at 22:00

  • You have to enter the festival site before 17:30

  • To enter the Subset Festival, you must be 16 years or older. Please bring your ID, driver's license, or passport with you.

  • You can find the line-up under the acts tab. Set times for the day will be released closer to the event. Keep up to date by following our social media pages; Facebook, Instagram. They are linked at the bottom of the page.

  • From 13:00-17:30 is our admission time, after that no more guests can enter the Subset Festival.
    The whole event is one-way!

  • You are not allowed to bring your own food and drinks to the area - but don't worry, we have enough food and drinks on site!

    Prohibited items include:

    firearms, spraying, stabbing, striking and slashing weapons and other items classified as dangerous, including pocket knives (bag knives), cameras with interchangeable lenses, film/video cameras, audio recording devices, rollerblades, skateboards, roller skates, bicycles, strollers, glass, pyrotechnics, petards, dry ice and animals.

  • We operate a cashless system across the entire festival site. We only accept card payments and Twint.

  • Ticket support is handled directly through our ticketing partner, Ticketcorner. You can contact their support team at any time for assistance with ticket-related issues.
    Refunds are not possible. If the event cannot take place due to force majeure, the tickets will remain valid for the next edition.

  • The event will take place in all weather conditions. In the unlikely event that extreme weather conditions prevent the event from taking place, it will be rescheduled

  • There will be a clearly marked medical tent on site. Our professional medical team is available around the clock to assist with any emergencies.
    Your health is important to us, so please do not hesitate to contact our medical team or our staff.

  • The Mäxican and other food stands will be there to delight you with culinary treats.

  • Please contact hey@maexschaft.ch for lost items. We appreciate your cooperation in turning in any found items to our staff

  • For wheelchair users: A regular ticket must be purchased, and the accompanying person receives a free ticket of the same category. To obtain the free ticket for the accompanying person, please send a copy of the disability ID (IV-Ausweis) in advance to hey@maexschaft.ch.

    Please note that the Subset Festival takes place on an industrial site, and depending on the weather, using a wheelchair may be somewhat challenging at times. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities, and we are always ready to assist with any concerns or needs you may have.
